The Foundation for Water Research Information Centre makes extensive use of PDF documents on its website. We can post PDFs as version 3, thereby making them backwards-compatible with older versions of Acrobat Reader. However, with the increasing size and complexity of documents, it makes sense to utilise the latest features of Acrobat Reader 5 and above which will allow hypertext links both within and outwith a document.
